Description
These nut butter protein balls are a quick and easy snack packed with healthy ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter)
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup vanilla protein powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, and salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Add wet ingredients: Pour in the almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Use a sturdy spoon or spatula to mix everything together. The dough should be thick but pliable. If it’s too dry, add a tiny bit more maple syrup. Too wet? A spoonful more oats will help.
- Roll into balls: Using clean hands or a cookie scoop, roll the dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a parchment-lined tray or plate.
- Chill and enjoy: For best texture, refrigerate the balls for at least 15–30 minutes before eating. Store extras in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
- These protein balls are great for meal prep and can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for longer storage.
