Description

A delicious and colorful beef stir-fry packed with vegetables and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 medium carrots, julienned
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced beef in a mixture of soy sauce and oyster sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sear the marinated beef in batches for about 2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic and ginger to the pan; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Toss in bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp (about 3–5 minutes).
  6. Return beef to the pan, add the sauce mixture, and stir well to coat all ingredients evenly.
  7. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For a spicier stir-fry, add sliced chili peppers while cooking.
  • You can substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for different protein options.
