Description

Delicious homemade chocolate kisses made with cocoa butter and cacao powder.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Butter (this is the organic brand we use)
  • 1/4 Cup Cacao Powder (we use this raw organic brand)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Black Cocoa Powder
  • 2 tbsp Honey* (maple syrup or agave, if vegan)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (we use homemade)
  • 3 Kisses Molds
  • 75 Silver Foil Pieces
  • 1 Chocolate Squeeze Bottle

Instructions

  1. In glass bowl, melt cocoa butter (double boiler works best). Remove from heat and stir with a spoon or spatula for 2 minutes.
  2. Transfer to a room temperature glass bowl. Stir for 2 minutes or until mixture is 90°.
  3. Add cacao, cocoa, and honey. Stir well.
  4. Add vanilla extract and stir with a whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour into squeeze bottle for easy transfer to chocolate mold. Fill molds fully, allow to sit at room temperature until hardened.
  6. Remove chocolate from mold by pressing on the tip of the kisses and releasing it towards the backside.
  7. Store at room temperature for up to 6 months.

Notes

  • Ensure ingredients are at room temperature before melting.
  • For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup or agave.
