Description
A warm and comforting soup made with tiny star-shaped pasta and broth.
Ingredients

- 2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup pastina (tiny star-shaped pasta)
- 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Bring the broth to a gentle simmer in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the pastina and stir well. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted.
- Taste and season with salt as needed.
- Stir in grated Parmesan if using and serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- This recipe can easily be adapted to include vegetables or other proteins as desired.
