Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound cod fish
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon BBQ Rub
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • foil (Optional, see notes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat smoker to 225 degrees.
  2. Rub both sides of the fish with olive oil and sprinkle the spices onto both sides of the fish. Rub the spices in to ensure the flavor penetrates.
  3. Place the fish on the smoker.

Notes

  • Using foil for the fish helps to keep it moist. Adjust cooking time if using foil.
