Description

Delicious and chewy peanut butter cookies, perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (200g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
  • 1/2 cup (100g) powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Place powdered sugar in a shallow bowl. Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar to coat heavily.
  6. Place balls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are set and crinkled on top.
  8. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
