- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 package mini phyllo shells (about 15–20 shells)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Fill the Shells: Place the mini phyllo shells on a baking sheet. Spoon the pecan mixture into each shell, filling them almost to the top.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the filling is set and the tops are golden brown.
- Cool: Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
- Serve: These bites can be served warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
