A delicious and unique wrap combining ground beef and cherries for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for flavor)
- 1 cup cherries (pitted and chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (for serving)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add chopped cherries, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Lay a tortilla flat and add a portion of the beef filling in the center.
- Top with shredded lettuce and cheese.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- In the same skillet, place the wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Slice the wraps in half and serve with sour cream on the side.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with black beans or lentils.
- Make sure the cherries are well pitted to avoid any surprises.
