- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers
Instructions
-
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
-
Prepare Skewers:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Soak wooden skewers in water for about 10 minutes to avoid burning.
-
Assemble the Skewers:
Thread cooked pasta onto the skewers, alternating with corn kernels, olives, and pepperoni slices. Place assembled skewers on a baking sheet.
-
Add Sauce and Cheese:
Spoon marinara sauce evenly over each skewer. Sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese.
-
Bake:
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle Italian seasoning or garlic powder over the skewers before baking.
- Substitute mozzarella with a different cheese blend if desired, such as cheddar or a spicy cheese mix.
- Experiment with additional toppings like green peppers, mushrooms, or diced onions to customize the skewers to your taste.
- To make the dish vegetarian, replace pepperoni with sliced mushrooms or zucchini.
